Sonic and Tails in a Team Speed Run coloring page
Extreme Energy Sonic & Tails coloring page: the twosome are running together, rings are going berserk, team spirit, thick lines, looks great on paper.!!
Sonic and Tails are highlighted in this multi-colouring page in synchronized speed run where they are featured middle of a sprint whilst the speed lines are arcing and one can notice a waning track of floating rings that trail after them. With characteristic confidence Sonic is leaning forward as Tails is keeping up pace with his twin tails as propellors. The scene is demarcated merely on clean white slate to print easily, the outlines are bold and clean not letting any shape crumble in outlines and at the same time complete and fillable. Environmental details are muted, but add vibrancy, without obstructing the composition: checkerboard ground plates, palm silhouettes, signal arrows and broken pebbles. The body directions of the two are also directed diagonally towards the meet and directing the vision through the page as well as involving collaboration and movement. Each piece is deliberately detached to allow the younger artist the freedom to color and older kids and adults to apply sub-colors, highlights and effects.
The way to color Color Sonic a strong royal blue with a peach/tan muzzle, inner ears and arms; keep gloves bright white with soft cool-gray folds and shoes red with white straps and the edge of the sole light gray. Tails is most effective as warm orange-gold fur with white muzzle, chest and tips of its tails; his shoes should be red and white. Make the eyes of Sonic dual colored green and eyes of Tails pale blue; retain a white polka to the eyes. Gold painted rings with shadows of darker amber and lightest possible highlight of yellow. Speed lines should be drawn in very light blue or pale gray to make sure speed lines do not overpower characters. The shadows cast on the ground are supposed to be light, neutral gray and darker towards their feet. Background bananas, checkers, palms and arrows can remain light: mint greens, sunny yellows, and sky blues. 40 or so markers to start off with a flat color, then layers of colored pencils to shade, with white gel pen to add sharp highlights.
