This beautiful, gentle colored picture shows Sonic and Amy walking along together through cherry blossom trees in full blossom. Petals are flying and some fall down in the path and on their shoulders, and there are delicate lanterns hanging on trees. In the background is a tiny bridge over a stream and then soft hills and clouds. Strong, clear linework distinguishes sharply lines between each feature- characters, blossoms, lanterns, bridge and scenery with zero color bleed. The figure is enclosed in basic vertical A4 frame and presence of white background provides the obliging broad open spaces to fill compositions and the finicky interiors such as bunches of blossoms to cover the enhanced shadings and details.
Color Sonic deep royal blue concentrated fashionably deep peach/tan muzzle, inner ears, and arms; gloves light clean white with soft cool-gray folds; shoes deep blood-colored with white strap and light-gray soles; eyes bright green. Here the fur of Amy is to be soft pink and her quills brighter pink; dress bright red, trimmed white; boots of red, gold buckle and white cuffs; eyes light green. Soft pinks with dark pink or magenta at the base of the petals, grading paler toward the tips, makes the best-looking cherry blossom; employ light green when still in bud. Lanterns may be light cream in color with warm yellow glow centers. The track does best in sandy beige and the bridge in warm wood brown or dark red; the stream in cooler blues with the barely visible dots of white. Stay with drifting petals soft pink with shadow on bottom. Complete the job with white gel pen to place the blossom twinkle, ring of light on the eyes, and spot lights where lanterns and petal boundaries.
