How to Color
Are you after the atmosphere of a dark, dimmed down performance? Opting to play the play in contrasting hues. Beginning with Freddy, with deep purples and blacks of his fur and suit, and with metallic gold or silver of his buttons and mic. Neotinate the star marquee wall with colour on the stars, deepblue or rich purple painting on a background of a light warm yellow, and resembled neon lights. In the case of the tip jar, take out a light blue or green that is clear and then sketch a few coins using gold and silver. Use dark greys on the stand of mic. The trick here is that you need to draw attention; picture a light projection on Freddy, therefore darken the colours in his surrounding. Shade in under his feet and behind the mic stand. Lastly, put in some white gel pen to add the bright accents to the stars, the rim of the tip jar and the shininess of Freddy eyes to make the whole scene burst into theatrical vitality.
