Leprechaun Reading a Book of Irish Myths coloring page

Cute coloring sheet of a leprechaun who is reading an ancient book of Irish myths under a tree is full of magical and folklore elements.

A wonderful coloring page, this piece depicts traditional image of a leprechaun sitting under an old big oak tree fully engaged in some ancient book of Irish myths and legends. The leprechaun is realistic in his costumes and carries a tall hat, a pair of buckles and a wastecoat. Little forest creatures curiously brush by to peek in at the pages and tiny shamrocks and wildflowers poke out of the roots of the tree that surrounds him. This backdrop involves hill tops, mountains in the distance and a one-ream cascade flowing amidst the scene which generates an elegant and incredible environment. this follows the open book with decorations in Celtic style in attitude of indicating the abundance of the stories in the book being read. This scene is filled with beautiful description of the Irish traditions and lack of noise in the storytelling in nature.

In what way to colour Choose deep shades of greens to colour the hat, coat, and trousers of the leprechaun and paint the buckles and buttons in gold. Use mixed shades of brown to color in the tree trunk and branches, filling in shades with darker colors. The foliage may include some dark green to create depth with the light and the darkness. The open book is to be light beige in pages and a dark brown or even green cover which has a vivid color. The woodland animals can be given natural browns and soft grays. The shamrocks and flowers at the base of the tree are bright greens and pastel works very well. Tint the hills with bright greens and in the distance you may put some pale blue or purples on the mountains. Lastly, the sky is painted in light blue with the stream painted in pale blues which merge casually to provide a serene and magical tone.
