Start with coloring the dress of the Fairy Queen since they are rather elegant pieces and preferably in luxury green, like rich emerald or veil of lavender, and accents on the Celtic lines and details of the crown can be performed in gold or silver. The only color that should be included on her wings is light pastel colors- paler pinks, blues or purples- to make the wings delicate and ethereal. Paint the shamrocks and the clovers with bright greens on the shamrocks; paint the shadows a little darker. The forest animals may be colored to a natural brown and gray. On the trees, deep browns can be used on the trunks and dark mixed with light greens to be used on the leaves. Add gold or soft yellow on the parts where the sun strikes the scene and sky blue in any part of sky that may be visible to finish off the magic forest feeling.
