Christmas Tree Beside Frozen Lake

The beautiful nature of the winter with its beauty and stillness, is embodied in this Christmas Tree Beside a Frozen Lake colouring page. The lake is bordered by a tall, elaborated Christmas-tree, all its branches thick and shaggy to a rich colouring. The tree and the rest of the landscape are reflected with a smooth, glass-like calmness in the frozen lake which extends outwards. There is a thick forest of pines behind the lake, which gives an additional background and ambiance to the picture. The snow has coated the earth and stuck to the trees in the distance making the winter view a serene calm and refreshing retreat, full of the crisp cool detail. This colouring page is clean and made up of wide shapes and aligned to the kids but full of complex details that may also attract adults and those with high skills in colouring. It features a combination of nature, magic of winter, and Christmas and is therefore perfect to be used in seasonal crafts, classroom projects, or quiet relaxation during a holiday. Once completed the piece of art work turns out to be a beautiful winter sight that embodies tranquilly and holiday.

🖍️ How to Color This Page
Start with shading the Christmas tree with the green which is dark at the base, dark forest green in the vires, and light emerald on the ends to take up the winter soft light. Insert the splashes of blue or white to depict that there is snow upon the branches. In case of the frozen lake, light blues, icy greys and light white highlights would be used to generate smooth icy reflections. Add inverted, a little, blurred colours of the tree to recreate the effect of real mirrors on the ice. The pine forest around is most pleasant in deeper shades of green, dulled in some light of blue or grey, to indicate the distance of the air. Snowy areas must be emphasised with dark blues and lavanders instead of being pure whitish. I wanted it to be deeper, so I lightened the horizon only slightly and left the foreground light. The tree can have optional ornaments coloured in cool colours like silver, blue and soft gold, since they fit the frosty landscape. It will be better to mix the whole scene in order to make it sharp, calm, and winter-beautiful.
