🎨 How to Color
To paint pretty on this page I began with warm shades of brown with the wooden beams and stalls of the reindeer, and as deep shades were added, down the scale. In the case of the Christmas tree, the darks, light greens, will make the tree look like it has branches, so some ornaments will be added toward the ends of the tree using the pops of bright reds, blues, and golds. Neutral warm greys or soft are the best material to use in the stable floor. It is a good idea to incorporate some soft light around the tree to make it festive and magical. Stroke even and shade to emphasise the details of the cosy.
