Winnie the Pooh Resting Peacefully in Forest

This colouring page of the Winnie the Pooh series is an imaginative representation of a tender and peaceful scene when Pooh is sleepy and spends his time in a calm section of the forest. The picture was also done with thick clear lines so that young children can enjoy the drawing but on the other hand the details may be soft to those who can draw the colour later in life. The posed body language of Pooh with closed eyes, and his arms loosely placed and a closed expression makes an inviting centre, which signifies nothing but stillness and contentedness. The forest around is depicted in rather plain yet delightful materials which include tall grasses, soft bushes, strong tree trunk, scattered leaves and far of foliage. Single silhouettes give soliciting colouring areas but do not dominate the structure. There are adding touches such as floating petals or depth motion of a little woodland creatures as well which is optional. It is a relaxing design that supports being conscious, telling imaginary tales, and a calm creativity that can be read in classrooms, during quiet-time, or to any person who prefers the serene nature of the Hundred Acre Wood.

HOW TO COLOR
Begin by setting Winnie the Pooh with warm yellow strokes and soft Orange on the edges of his nose so as to give him a soft depth effect. His shirt has to be a dull but cosy red to blend with the serene atmosphere. The tree trunk to be used should be brown, of medium tint, and the bushes and leaves a variety of green-greens-lighter on sunny side and darker on shady side. Fresh or earthly greens may be used in colouring the forest floor, according to the ambiance of which one to create. Paint in soft blue when it is the sky or paint it faintly when it is a dreamy sky. Shadows under Pooh are used to stabilise the scene creating the impression of rest. Pooh is most suited by smooth and blended strokes and it is the more textured strokes that make grass, bark, and other nature to have life. Crayons, coloured pencils or markers would all be good with this serene forest drawing.
