🎨 How to Color
Begin by tinting the feathers of the turkey in warm brown, golden yellow in shades and spots of red and orange. Have bright red as wattle and soft orange as the beak. Color the pond with light blues and turquoise, using lighter colours at the end of the ripples in order to enhance the reflected effect. Include a trace of gray or white marks of water. In the foreground colour the grass and reeds in tender greens and yellow-greens, in the background light oranges and browns of fallen leaves. To create the sombre mood, the background can be a light tan ground or even a light blue sky. Coloured pencils or water colour pencils are to be used to create a smooth, natural blending.
