How to ColorĀ
Start with the fur of the grinch in vivid green with darker shades applied over shadows and brighter shades applied over the highlights. His outfit of Santa must be a bright red with white trim, faintly scaffolded in grey to look like a fluff. In the case of Christmas lights, combine all the recreational colours and make them vibrant, red, yellow, blue, green and purple, leaving all the bulbs slightly white so that they can appear shiny and glowing. Around each bulb you may lightly shade with a light halo of the same color so as to have a glow. The cord may be dark green or black in order to contrast with his fur. Include warm orange or yellow lights reflections on the arms and face of the Grinch to create the illusion of the light. Be sparse with the setting in the background, stay light, either pale-blue snow or soft white snow, so that the lights stand out. Be together so as to get the crackle, humour, and charm of this yuletide Grinch scene!
