How to Color
To begin with colouring in the fur of the Grinch to make it bright green and darker under his armpits and face to shade and contour. His Santa suit is to look bright red with a trim of white fluffy to sweetly darken to a light grey to give the soft, natural feel. This gift sack may be deep brown, red or green, and it is filled with coloured gifts of gold, blue, pink and purple, tied by bright ribbons of yellow, red, or silver. To make the background, cool blues and soft white will be used to give the impression of a snowy night, and small white dots will be used to depict the falling snow. Lighten the surrounding of the face of the Grinch or the sides of the bag using the warm yellow hue to make the scene bright. Lastly, use the eyes of the Grinch which are yellow with black pupils to make him look mischievous. Combine all paint colours to help reproduce that contrast of the cold night and the sneaky and festive way in which the Grinch was attempting to do things!
