How to Color
Begin with the fur of the Grinch which is in bright green, darker grading under the arms and face, darker shades beneath the eyes, and highlights on the face, etc. His Santa outfit must shine in deep red with a white trim with a slight tint of grey as a deep shade. The sleigh may be bright in very deep red, or gold, with silver runners and spangles of brown timber. Wrap the gifts with bright holiday shades red, blue, green, yellow, and purple and have ribbons glitter with metallic bright colours of gold or silver. The dog is called Max and she looks best in warm brows, but has a red ribbon in the face, with light tan fur. In the case of the snowy hill, light blue, white and pale grey should be mixed and there should be movement and sparkle. It may be a dark blue that fades into purple or night navy and snowflakes are drifting about the sky. Light strokes are strokes used to depict speed and movement, the entire luckier-type alienation of the festivity!
