Tanjiro Sword Training Under Waterfall

This Tanjiro coloring page depicts the young Demon Slayer in deep concentration as he trains with his sword below a rippling waterfall. There is a lot of wildness in the nature and there is the unity of body and mind through his training that the scene expresses. The rushing water, the rocks with rich details, and Tanjiro ready towards the struggle of life can create a dramatic yet humbling atmosphere and can be a perfect slide to show a new fan of the Demon Slayer. The silhouettes are strong, so that one can color them easily but still have space to apply the imagination in the water, sword, and background details. Regardless of whether you are a child that is a fan of the anime or an adult who feels in need of a relaxing and inspiring coloring experience, you will welcome the experience of coloring with the determination and focus that Tanjiro displayed in order to reach his goal.

How to color: Start with a look at Tanjiro, his dark brown uniform with bright green and black checkered haori. His hair is to be deep reddish-brown, with some highlights to give texture. The Nichirin sword is able to be shaded black with silver accents or vice versa, and his hanafuda earrings can be made red, white, and/or black. To show the waterfall, apply light blues, white, and bits of silver to show a feeling of movement and spray and darker blues toward the rocks. The rocks themselves should be colored with grays and browns and further lightened and darkened with darker shadows. In order to highlight atmosphere, you may blur background and make it misty with blends of blues and grays. Colored pennels will be the best option to color the water and the mist, whereas markers should be taken to draw Tanjiro in a very bold and striking way. A few white highlights with gel pen or pastel will make the water shine and look alive.
