T-Rex and Rising Volcano

The heart of this coloring page is a scene of a dramatic prehistoric situation when T-Rex roomed with his proud and erect stature and facing a diminishing deafening volcano. The open jaws, sharp teeth, and raised posture of the dinosaur make one experience a sense of great energy, and the outline of the body is defined with clear and bold lines, which were intended to be easy to colour and shade in. In the background, the volcano has the drifting smoke and single lines of simple lava flow, which make it more intense without being too overwhelming the page. The ground that is under the T-Rex is described by soft lines and broad open areas, giving the artists the chance to play with gradients or textures. The background is deliberately plain with smooth lines employed in depicting hills and elements of the sky so as to leave emphasis on T-Rex alongside the lava. Such a balance between the little and the big picture makes the page interesting to both kids and adults with its dynamic but still accessible dinosaur environment to play around with.

🎨 How to Color
To begin with good earth colors, brown, red, or green, or even GM, on the T-Rex. Darker tones should go under the jaw, along the belly, and back at the legs to add depth with the tone being darker on the top of the head and back. One can paint the volcano in dark browns and charcoal greys mixing bright oranges, reds, and yellows in the lava lines. Light greys or smokey purples are used in the emerging smoke. The floor may be either warm brown to deep red to suit the volcanic environment. In the case of the sky, blues would be the ideal colour when there is a need of peace or oranges and red when eruption is required. Stroke hard and soft in big areas, and hard in places that you need additional texture.
