How to colour: Paint the SR-71 blackbird, in the well-known matte black. Adding highlight in lighter gray along edges to exhibit glow and texture. The cockpit glass can be darkened to blue and reflective gold. Minor parts and engines may remain black, but with Trace of gray or silver. With the sky have deep blue to make it appear high-altitude or experiment with purples and dark color to indicate it is flying at the edge of space. Kids also have the option of putting on bright stars or the sunset glow at the back of the jet to produce a dramatic effect.
