Spike, the dragon, is busy in his glittering image cave arraying his jewels. How to color
The scales used by Colour Spike have his colours being purple and light green, which all blend seamlessly to maintain his personable appearance. His spikes and belly plates are either a soft lime green or mint in colour. To the jewels, combine the intense ruby reds, sapphire blues, emerald greens, and amethyst purples and apply the highlights of white to give them their shininess. The cave walls take advantage of greys and browns with small amount of gold or orange rays of the torchlight to make the walls warm. The treasure chest may be wooden brown on the edges with all-golden ornamentation. Apply a yellow or pallid orange tint on reflected light on gems and face of Spike. Complete with a dusty grey shading on the background floor to bring out the glory of the sparkling hoard of Spike.
