The shot portrays a happy couple dancing to the tune under the waving palms, their strides framed by the waves of the ocean and golden sands. Every line is a statement of movement, interrelations and the glorification of culture. It is a perfect design that fuses the heat of the tropics and the fervour of salsa dance and fits perfectly both in children and adults. The jungle environment, beautiful dancers, and the musical atmosphere set a pleasant and exhilarating experience of colouring that glorifies rhythm, love, and the vibrant zeal of the dance spirit of the Caribbean.
How to Color
Place turquoise and deep blue with the ocean and then mix the light gray into a light horizon. Warm golden yellows and tans are used on the sand, and rich green on palm leaves. Costume the dancers in deep, being colours bright and passionate--reds, oranges, and fuchsia to dress the woman, and white, navy or black to dress the man. Apply warm tans on the skin and sun rays on the skin to make everything look tropical. This is done using soft pinks, corals, and sunset oranges in the background sky giving it a sunset feel. Coloured pencils would be ideal in creating shading in the movements whereas markers would be used to create bold colours in this movement of the beach dance.
