An impressive rainbow swooping across an open and vast sky and guiding to a treasure of hidden leprechaun at the foot of a small hill is depicted in this beautiful coloring page. The treasure chest is in the process of being opened just a wee bit, with plenty of shiny gold coins, shamrocks, and some shiny gemstone jewels spilling out. A path made up of cobblestone leads to the chest, the viewer is enticed to the end of the rainbow. Around the treasure are the patches of the clover, wild flowers, and the gently waving grasses. In the far end are softly undulating hills and some puffy clouds that give the picture a serene beauty. The song combines two classic elements of magical folklores of St. Patrick Day and the ancient treasure which can be found by anyone.
Color the rainbow with vivid colors, red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple, fading gradually into one another. The sky should be painted in a light blue shade with the lighter color being added to represent thick, fluffy clouds. Paint the treasure chest in dark brown color and bright gold or yellow color of the spilling money and clover decorations. Paint the shamrocks and surrounding grass a deep dark green and add small dots of bright colors such as pink, yellow, and blue to the wildflowers that grew all along the path. The cobblestone road should be painted with light variations of gray or tan and the cracks and borders close to darker colors. Complete by adding subtle shadows where the chest is, in the path, and at the delights of a rainbow to give 3D effect and make the magical treasure scene come alive.
