Puppy splashing in puddles after rain coloring page

Smiling, dirty puppy page! The dog is having a good bath in the rain puddles with a dark sky. Dark clouds are dark and heavy rain.

The page, after the fresh rain, includes some abundant objects such as reflective puddles and splashes, the sky being cloudy with the initial rain coming and at the background, a rainbow can be read. The case is ideal to play with textures that seem wet and with joyful colouring to create a contestative scene that is full of movement and attractiveness. It would be a perfect activity to unleash utmost creativity and enjoy the no-frills, scruffly-delightful fun dogs like most.

How to Color This Page
Splash on using these creative coloring techniques:

1. Color the Muddy, Wet Puppy:

Wet Fur: it is a dark-looking wet puppy! They can select a base colour on its fur (such as white, brown, black) and apply it over it with a darker strong regularly coloured shade. This is achieved using slick glossy strokes to appear that the fur is slick and wet. And queue onto patches of light brown mud on its legs and belly.

Splashing Water: The spraying droplets may have colour pinky blue and grey with highly white spots on one side to appear shinny and glassy.

2. Create the Rainy Scene:

Puddles: Oh, don't make them blue through and through! Rather, a light grey blue on the periphery and the centre infinitely lighter or even white to indicate a reflection. A small mirror-turned reflection of the legs of the puppy or of the sky.

Sky and Ground: the parting rain clouds to be used are light grey and white. Browns and greens of the earth, done dark, rich, are to be used to give the impression of dark, damp mud and grass, to the ground.

3. Adding Special Effects:

Rainbow: To make it lighthearted add a compassionate rainbow towards the backdrop in subtle doses of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple.

Splash Lines: Colour lines that are used to show splash arcs with a very light blue or grey shade to ensure that they are lighter and more transparent than water droplets.

4. Recommended Tools:

Coloured Pencils: They are used to excellent effect in mixing the wet fur to produce the practising soft, reflective appearance on the puddles.

Instructions: LCC Apply vivid vibrant coloured papers to puppy and rainbow. The clouds are well served by a light grey marker.

Gel Pens: To add accent of bright spots to the drops of water and bring out the glossy and wet appearance on the nose of the puppy, it will be important to have a white gel pen.

Embrace the mess and fun! The first one is a joyful and high-minded scene, so the colours needed should be bright and not be afraid of experimenting with the splashes.
