How to Color This Page
Make this anarchy of a garden to come to life using these amusing coloring suggestions:
Color the Playful Puppy:
Muddy Fur: This is the key! Select a background colour (such as white, golden or brown) on the puppy. Next add it with a bit of brown and greys to mark it as muddy on its feet, the pector, the nose and the rump. And some specks of dirt on its face are to be remembered!
Action Pose: Your strokes in your colouring are enough to trace the line of the fur to show the movement of the puppy.
Color the Garden and Dirt:
The Dirt Pile: The hole in the dark brown or black one is deep. In the case of the flying dirt, employ more nuanced versions of the use of brown and tan colours, and using stippling (little dots) on the tip of your pencil or marker to make it gritty looking and rough.
The Garden: Make it vibrant! Paint the flowers bright red, yellow and purple. The grass, leaves, and stems can be described using different tones of green to make them three dimension.
Add Background Details:
The Mishaps: Paint the overthrown watering can with reflective metallic blue or red. Pour in a pool of water with light blue.
The Lawn: Make the green of the undugged lawn a rich green, and make a contrast between it and the brown messy spot that the digging takes.
Recommended Tools:
Coloured Pencils: They are better to use in order to make the fur of a puppy and make it look like dirt and grass.
Gel Pens: It is ideal in putting usual little white or yellow highlight on the eyes of a puppy or shimmer to a puddle of water.
Purposes: Excellent to use in filling big spaces such as the sky and lawn with vivid colours.
