Helmet on Rifle Battlefield Cross coloring page
Cross colour print page on the battlefield with a helmet on a rifle and very few cloud prints. An urgent Memorial Day oblivion with bold lines, straightforward forms and strong symbolism.
The Colouring Page, the Helmet on Rifle Battlefield Cross, is a very moving and effective discussion of fallen warriors. This design is based around the battlefield cross representing the soldier helmet affixed at the top of the rifle firmly rooted in the ground as a symbol of sacrifice, remembrance and honour. The minimal and clean shapes of clouds in the background do not cause a disturbing spirit and let the central memorial remain in focus. The clarity of lines and the simplicity of shapes render the page friendly to the kids, but the rich symbolism of the page enables the older artists to add some light tint, detail and emotion to the drawing. The perfect coloring page especially when it comes to Memorial Day, Veterans Day, military appreciation events, classroom activities, or personal reflection consideration is a powerful learning tool to impart lessons and remember the price of freedom. Its simplicity stimulates the serene, contemplative creativity and is appropriate both in the learning environment and in contemplative moments of tribute. Printed to participate in the school life, community affairs or to colour the nuts and bolts in honour of the fallen American heroes, this design is a sombre reminder.
How to Color
Start with a coloured helmet colour of muted tones of greens, greys or camouflage colours. Shade the rim and cylinder straps. The rifle may be painted dark brown or black with faint details in order to make metallic and wooden feel of the rifle. To ground the scene, apply the natural earth colouring i.e. tan, brown or olive. The few clouds are revealed on very light blues or pale greys to ensure peaceful background. Children might use the plain and striking colours whereas grown-ups can combine gradients and make it more emotional and more real. The inclusion of a soft shadow under the cross also adds a sense of depth to it and contributes to giving the picture a respectful sound.
