Harry and the Sorting Hat Talking in the Great Hall coloring page
The beautiful line-art coloring page with Harry Potter talking to the great Sorting Hat on his head in the grand Great Hall and ready to be colored by young wizards making this scene come alive!
Enter the majestic space of the Great Hall of Hogwarts with its long wooden tables beneath a ceiling that resembles the sky and hosts floating candles and banners with words of the pride of each House. In the center, on the little stool, stands Harry Potter with his much-discussed Sorting Hat cocked jauntily on his head and the hat raving softly into his ear--folds and wrinkles in plain simple lines that are easy to color. The magic ceiling around him reflects a star-filled night and provides plenty of clean white space that allows artists to splatter with soft gradients or strong colors. On their background are the four house tables, waiting patiently with their empty plates and goblets, readying themselves of the feasts to be delivered by students, whereas on the tall windows, is a silhouette of the forbidden forest being illuminated by the moon just behind the castle walls. Even a certain amount of frivolity in the details--such as a half-a-dozen paper scrolls that dangle here and there, a couple of netted-looking candles that float about, and the fancy work of the stone supports of the pillars--will help to keep an older colorist employed, and the large spaces of the floor of the Hall, and the fields of the banners, will give scope to the younger ones. The scene is framed simply, directing the attention of the artists and welcoming them to fill in all details including the brim of the Sorting Hat and the swaying flames of the candle with their magical color palette.
