Under a bright, caring scene where dinosaurs work on a garden, planting seedlings, watering with watering cans, and taking care of them, this is an excellent picture to color.
This touching coloring page shows a group of dinosaurs who have taken a little bed of the earth, and have turned it into an encroaching garden, with each dinosaur charming in its own subdued manner. Stegosaurus digs tiny holes with its tail skillfully and tries to live on them by putting small shoots there and a brontosaurus puts its long neck across rows of young shoots and waters it with a large leaf-like watering can. A joyful triceratops gives one the seed packets to a younger dino and curious baby dinosaur shows between the budding flower with an open-foiled face. Around them, garden implements, trowels, seed baskets, and a miniature wheelbarrow, are scattered, in convenient disorder, and a few good-natured insects and butterflies are hovering to and fro among growing leaves. Wavy lines in the soil, smaller rocks characterize the texture, and baby trees around invite shade and detail, as do their tiny new leaves. There are vines growing up beside trelliswork and at the side of the picture a sun-smiling peeps out shouting that it is a very good day to watch the growth. This scene is a celebration of all the things care, patience, and cooperation need and the colorists get quite a number of chances to present verdant life and smiling dinosaur personalities in their vibrant colors.
