Bluey and Dad Fishing by the Lake coloring page
Bluey and her father are fishing lines at a beautiful lakeshore where there are some reeds and a bit of water ruffle.
This is a peaceful coloring sheet with Bluey and father seated on a little wooden dock; both stick figures are holding a fishing rod with no shades that would make the crayons or markers come out too dull. The shiny lake stretches forward towards the horizon, with its smooth pitted surface like circles waiting to be filled with soft blues or with bright designs. Stalks of tall reeds and lily pads line the edges of the water and two dragonflies float in the lightly defined profile. On the horizon behind them are rolling hills ending in a sky filled with puffy clouds and a smiling sun-all which are left blank so that the viewer could creatively fill in. A plain tackle box and a wicker basket wait to be coloured on the dock; there is even an indulgent fish poking its head over the water line, shown in clear lines ready to be painted in playful colours. Uncrowding the picture with a border of fishing hooks and bobbers and fish-toting silhouettes, leaving plenty of white space to fill with their own jumping fish and decorations on Dad?´s hat or their own drawings of sea-going creatures on the shoreline. On this page, all shapes are blank and the text is absent which makes children think about the peaceful lakeside fishing trip of Bluey and her dad and brings that scene to life, bit by bit, with one happy color.
